Tickets, Passes, and Reservations
Overview
Some places and organizations offer tickets, passes, reservations, or parking through OuterSpatial. Availability depends on the partner, the place, and the current season or schedule.
OuterSpatial helps you find the right option, review details, and open the partner checkout page. The partner checkout page handles the final purchase, reservation, payment, availability, refunds, and policy details.
Find Tickets, Passes, and Reservations
Open an area, place, or organization page and look for the Plan tab. When options are available, the Plan tab shows matching sections with place cards, such as Tickets, Passes, Reservations, Reservable Locations, or parking.
Tap a place card to open the location that offers the option. If a section has more than one place, tap View All to see the full list.
These sections only appear when the selected area or organization has available places for that type. If you do not see Tickets, Passes, or Reservations, that page may not currently offer them.
Choose an Option on a Place Page
Open a place that offers a ticket, pass, or reservation, then use the purchase or reserve button near the bottom of the page.
Depending on the place, the button may say Purchase Ticket, Purchase Pass, or Reserve. If there is only one option, the app opens its detail sheet. If there are multiple options, choose the ticket, pass, or reservation you want first.
The detail sheet can include photos, description, price, dates, allowed activities, and other partner-provided details. Review the details before continuing.
Complete Checkout
Tap the Open in button with the partner name to continue. OuterSpatial opens the partner checkout page outside the detail sheet, in a web browser or web view.
Complete the purchase or reservation on the partner page. Because checkout happens with the partner, final prices, service fees, processing fees, availability, cancellation rules, confirmation emails, and receipt behavior can vary.
If checkout fails or the partner page does not load, check your connection and try again from the purchase or reserve button. For payment, refund, or policy questions, contact the partner listed on the checkout page or receipt.
View Purchases in Wallet
Wallet is organized by Reservations, Passes, and Tickets. Active and upcoming purchases appear first, with expired purchases below. Tap a purchase to see details such as the location or organization, dates and confirmation code when available, QR code, payment information, receipt information, and support options.
If a purchase does not appear right away, reopen Wallet or try again after the partner finishes processing the purchase.
iOS
After checkout, eligible purchases appear in Wallet when you are signed in with the same OuterSpatial account.
When Connected Accounts is available for your account, you can connect a supported state recreation account:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Beta Testing.
- Tap Connected Accounts.
- Tap Connect for the available state system, then sign in on the partner site.
Connected Accounts lists state systems alphabetically. Each card shows its connection status. A connected card can also show synced Reservations, Passes, and Tickets, the latest successful sync, or a message when no supported purchases have appeared yet. A card says Syncing while it checks for new purchases; existing purchase counts and the latest successful sync remain visible.
If a card says Connection Expired, tap Reconnect and sign in again. If it says Needs Attention, the latest purchase sync failed, but purchases already in Wallet remain available. State systems that are not ready for account linking appear as Coming Soon.
To stop future updates from an account, return to Connected Accounts, tap Disconnect, and confirm. Purchases already in Wallet remain available.
Android
Wallet and Connected Accounts appear in Settings when they are available for your app and account. To open Wallet:
- Open Settings.
- Find Beta testing features when that section is shown.
- Tap Wallet.
To connect a supported recreation account, open Beta testing features, tap Connected Accounts, tap Connect for the available state system, then sign in on the partner site. To stop future updates, return to Connected Accounts, tap Disconnect, and confirm. Purchases already in Wallet remain available.
Use QR Codes and Wallet Passes
When a purchase includes a QR code, open the purchase in Wallet and present the code when requested by the partner or site staff.
Device wallet support can vary by platform and purchase. When an Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet button is available, use it to add the pass to your device wallet. If a wallet pass is not available, keep the purchase details and QR code available in OuterSpatial Wallet.
Troubleshooting
If tickets, passes, reservations, or purchases do not look right:
- Make sure you are signed in with the account used for checkout.
- Confirm you are viewing the correct community and organization.
- Check your internet connection, then reopen the place page or Wallet.
- If the checkout page will not open, try again from the purchase or reserve button.
- Check the partner receipt or confirmation email for payment, refund, cancellation, or policy details.
- Update OuterSpatial from the App Store or Google Play.
If your completed purchase still does not appear in Wallet, contact Visitor Success at visitors@outerspatial.com and include the partner name, place name, purchase type, and confirmation code if you have one.
