Contact and Support Organizations

Overview

Organization pages show ways to contact, follow, and support the agencies or nonprofits connected to the places you are exploring. The available options depend on what each organization has provided, so not every organization shows every contact method or support button.

Find Organizations

You can find organizations from:

• Organization Partners on the community home screen.
• Organization links on place, event, article, challenge, and post pages.
• Search and organization lists when available.
• Saved Organizations from your profile area after you save an organization.

Tap an organization card or name to open its organization page.

Review Organization Details

Open the Info tab if the page has tabs. An organization page can show:

• Organization name and verification status.
• Active alerts.
• Info, Things To Do, Plan, and Social tabs when content is available.
• A contact card with an address, website, phone number, social links, and basic organization stats.
• Address, coordinates, and what3words when available.
• Trail, outing, area, or Point of Interest counts.
• Maps, paper maps, media, documents, bulletin board items, and related content.

Tap a website or social link to open it in your browser. Tap a phone number to call when your device supports phone calls. Some organizations also show a Connect screen that gathers the organization's links in one place; tap a link there to open the website, social profile, or contact destination.

Get Directions

When an organization or place shows an address or coordinates, tap it to open directions. Some organization pages do not include a directions action because they represent an agency or nonprofit instead of a single destination.

Save and Subscribe

Use the save action to save an organization so it appears in your saved organizations. Use the notification action to subscribe or unsubscribe from organization updates. You may need to be signed in before saving or subscribing. See Save Places and Organizations for more about saved items and subscriptions.

Support an Organization

Some organization pages show a Show Your Support card. Depending on the organization, this card can include:

• Donate.
• Volunteer.
• Join Newsletter.

Tap one of these options to open the organization's external page. Donations, volunteer forms, and newsletter signups are handled by the organization outside the app.

Claim an Organization

Some organization pages show Claim Organization. Tap it to open OuterSpatial's organization information page in your browser.

Use this option if you represent the organization and want to manage or improve its presence in OuterSpatial.

Suggest a Correction

On iOS, open the More menu on an organization page, then choose Report an Error or Suggest an Edit. The app opens a support form that includes the organization context so Visitor Success can review the request.

On Android, use the app's support or feedback options if the organization page does not show a correction action.

Troubleshooting

If a contact or support option is missing:

1. Confirm you are viewing the correct organization.
2. Check whether the organization has provided that link or contact method.
3. Connect to the internet and refresh the page.
4. On iOS, tap Try Again if the page says its details are temporarily unavailable.
5. Update OuterSpatial from the App Store or Google Play.
