Billing and Plans

Overview

Use Billing in Manager to review your organization's plan, start or manage a Team plan subscription, contact the Success Team about Enterprise, and download tax documents when they are available.

Only organization admins can make billing changes. Staff members can view billing information when they have access, but Manager shows an admin-access message when a billing action requires an admin.

Open Billing

1. Open Manager.
2. Choose your organization.
3. Open Organization.
4. Open Settings.
5. Select Billing.

Review License Info

Billing shows License Info for the organization. The available actions depend on your organization's current plan and billing state.

Team organizations can show Team plan details and links to the public Plans page. Enterprise organizations can show Enterprise plan details and a Contact Success Team action.

If Manager cannot recognize the organization's plan, use Contact Success Team from Billing so Trailhead Labs can review the account.

Start a Team Plan Subscription

If your organization is on the Team plan but does not have an active subscription, Billing can show Start Paying For Team Plan.

Organization admins can select Start Paying For Team Plan and choose a monthly or annual option. Manager opens checkout through the payment provider. After checkout succeeds, Manager asks you to refresh the browser so the updated plan state can load.

If checkout does not open, wait a moment and try again. If the payment system is unavailable or checkout still fails, contact the Success Team.

Manage Payment Details

If your organization has a Team subscription, Billing can show Open Payment Portal.

Organization admins can use the payment portal to manage payment details and billing setup. If Manager shows Payment Is Past Due or Team Subscription Is Canceled, open the payment portal to resolve the issue and avoid service interruption.

Only organization admins can open the payment portal. Staff members should contact an organization admin when billing changes are needed.

Ask About Enterprise or Add-Ons

Use Contact Success Team About Enterprise Plan when you want to ask about Enterprise or a feature that requires Enterprise access.

Some features may also require an add-on. When Manager opens Billing because a feature is gated, Billing can show Upgrade Required or Add-on Required with the feature name.

Download Tax Documents

Enterprise billing can include Tax Documents. Use Download Tax Documents to download current Trailhead Labs tax documents.

Trials

New self-serve organizations can start with a 30-day Team trial. Before the trial ends, add payment information from Billing if your organization wants to keep Team access active after the trial.

Troubleshooting

If Billing does not show the action you expected:

1. Confirm you are viewing the correct organization.
2. Confirm you are signed in as an organization admin.
3. Refresh the browser after checkout or plan changes.
4. Try again if the payment system is still loading.
5. Contact the Success Team if the plan, subscription, or payment state looks wrong.

Some internal billing tools are visible only to authorized OuterSpatial staff and are not part of routine organization billing management.
