Visitor Analytics

Overview

Visitor Analytics lets you download CSV reports for visitor usage, campaign activity, and screen engagement.

Open Organization > Visitor Analytics to choose a community, date range, and report type.

Availability

Your organization must be published to at least one community before Visitor Analytics can generate reports. If your organization is not available in any community yet, Manager shows a prompt to contact Customer Success.

Some report types depend on your plan or enabled features. Community Usage is an Enterprise analytics feature. If your organization does not have access, Manager labels it as Enterprise-only and links to billing or Customer Success.

Choose Application and Community

If your organization has more than one app or community option, choose the application first.

For OuterSpatial reports, choose the community you want to analyze. Custom app selections can automatically determine the matching community when Manager has that relationship.

Choose a Date Range

Visitor Analytics reports use month-based ranges.

Use a preset to quickly select:

  • This month.
  • Past 3 months.
  • Past 6 months.
  • Past year.
  • All time.

You can also choose custom start and end months. The start month must be before or the same as the end month. Manager supports analytics ranges beginning in January 2018 and ending no later than the current month.

Choose a Report Type

Visitor Analytics supports these CSV report types:

  • Community Usage: high-level usage for a community.
  • Organization Campaigns: campaign analytics for your organization. This report is available only for OuterSpatial application analytics.
  • Organization Screen Engagement: screen engagement for your organization's content.

Select the report type that matches the question you are trying to answer, then select Download.

Download the CSV

After you select Download, Manager requests the report and saves a CSV file to your device.

The filename includes the application, community, organization, date range, and report type so you can identify it later.

Troubleshooting

If a download fails:

  • Make sure your selected date range is valid.
  • Confirm the selected community belongs to your organization.
  • Use the OuterSpatial application option for campaign reports.
  • Check whether the report type requires an Enterprise analytics feature.
  • Sign in again if your session expired before the CSV could be downloaded.
