Delete Your Account

You can delete your OuterSpatial account from the app or the website. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out, so you can change your mind before it happens.

Before You Start

Check that you're logged in to the account you want to delete. The delete screen shows how you log in, such as Apple, Google, or an email code, and the email address on the account. If it isn't the account you expected, log out and log in another way first.

On iOS and Android, the confirmation warns you if this device has work that has not synced, including photos saved for recovery. Let pending contributions sync and save any photos you want to keep from Settings > Needs Your Attention before deleting your account. If the app cannot check your pending work, it asks you to try again before continuing.

Schedule Deletion

1. Open Settings. In the iOS app, tap Settings on the Me tab. In the Android app, open Account Settings. On the website, go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Review what's deleted and what's kept, then confirm.
4. Tap Schedule Deletion and confirm the date.

Your account is deleted on or after the date shown, 30 days from now. Until then you can keep using OuterSpatial, but your profile, posts, and comments are hidden from other people.

Cancel Deletion

Log in any time before the deletion date. When OuterSpatial asks about your scheduled deletion, choose Keep My Account. You can also tap Cancel Deletion in Settings.

Delete Immediately

If you don't want to wait 30 days, choose Delete Immediately on the delete screen. You'll be asked to log in again to confirm it's you, and then your account is deleted right away. This can't be undone.

What's Deleted

Deleting your account removes your profile, login, settings, posts, comments, likes, challenge progress, and saved places. A minimal record that a deletion happened is kept, with no personal content.
